What Is The ADAPT Program? 

The ADAPT program is a community I've built to share the knowledge I've spent years accumulating as both a Doctor of Physical Therapy and as a patient myself. I breakdown the exact system I used to overcome YEARS of shoulder, back, and knee pain as well as helping hundreds of others do the same.
 
The simple, 3 step system helps you identify the root cause of your issues so that you can eliminate them for good and finally get back to the life & activities you love.

The ADAPT Program is designed to help you improve joint health, overcome injuries, and build a more resilient, capable body all based on exactly what YOU need.

How Does It Work? 

It's all about finding the right pieces of the puzzle. So many people "fail" traditional treatments because they're using a cookie cutter approach.
They're CHASING THE SMOKE instead of PUTTING OUT THE FIRE. 
The first step is finding the fire. You'll do this with the self guided movement assessment. This is the same movement assessment I've used to help hundreds of people overcome everything from disc herniations to labral tears, even when nothing else had worked for them. You've been driving with the headlights off for too long. The self assessment will help you turn them on and show us where we need to go, giving us a clear path and a road map to success.  
Once you identify your unique limitations, you'll work right into my 3 step process.
 
Prime. Perform. Prevent. 
Priming is where we bridge the gap between what you're asking your body to do and what it's currently capable of. This typically involves specific mobility work or targeted isometric strengthening to those unique areas we found with the assessment.  
Performance is where we start to build back into the things you love. Now that your body is ready for it, we start to push it. We start to ask more and more from your body as it allows. This stage focuses heavily on building up your capacity and resiliency in the trouble areas. 
Prevention is based around making sure we have a game plan for the long term. This needs to be sustainable if it's going to last. You can't have a laundry list of exercises you need to do every time you want to feel better or go work out. We need to find the happy medium and the minimal effective dose that keeps you moving and feeling your best.

Who Am I?

I’m a fun loving, fitness enthusiast who has been through some really tough times dealing with pain along my health and fitness journey. After finally getting through it myself I decided I wanted to share these gifts with the world and help others do the same. The information in this community has changed my life more than I can even say. I’m forever grateful for the struggles I went through to find this information and the experiences it brought me. It’s helped me change more lives than I can count and that’s exactly why I created this.

A little more background about me... I graduated from the University of Massachusetts Lowell with my Doctorate of Physical Therapy after 7 long years. Countless hours of continuing education is what prepared me to open my own practice and accumulate over 85+ 5 star reviews, right out of school. I have been constantly evolving ever since, trying to find the best ways to help people go through the same journey I did without as much pain and struggle. The ADAPT Program is the product of that focus.

The Next Step...

  • How long until I see results?
    It always depends on your specific limitations but most people find pain relief during their first week or joining the program! While this is great, it doesn’t mean we’re quite done yet - our main goal is to get you out of pain and KEEP you out of pain, long-term! This is why I highly recommend completing all 3 phases of the program (Prime, Perform, and Prevent) for best results. It might take a few more weeks of hard work but will be well worth it in the long run.
  • How does this program differ from others?
    The results speak for themselves. The ADAPT Program offers you a personalized approach to attack your specific weak points with expert guidance and accountability along the way.
  • How is this going to work if I don't get to see you in person?
    I've found that almost all issues are movement limitations. Hands-on work like massage, adjustments, ect can all feel great but they're a TEMPORARY fix. All we really need is to find the specific movements that are causing the issue and convince the body that it's okay to move in that way again. We do this.. with MOVEMENT. I believe this actually sets you up for more success long term because YOU are in control of your pain rather than relying on my “magic hands” to “fix” you every time you have something pop up.
  • Can I keep doing my regular workouts/routine while using the ADAPT Program?
    The short answer is yes! I try to keep people’s workouts as close to the same as possible, even when they’re dealing with pain. I typically recommend backing off some of the things that are more aggravating, especially in the beginning phases so that we can make quicker progress and then slowly reintroduce them as things feel better.
  • I have old, nagging pain/injuries. Is this still right for me?
    Absolutely! One of the biggest benefits of the ADAPT Program is it will help you highlight the areas of weakness or limitations so that you can finally overcome chronic or nagging issues. I tell people all the time, even chronic pain/injuries can change really quickly if you find the right pieces to the puzzle.
  • How often do I need to do the exercises?
    Totally up on you! Everyone is different so it’s impossible to say exactly what is going to work for someone until they try it. The program is designed to work around your schedule and lifestyle by having multiple options to choose from. The more you put into it, the more you’ll get out of it but you can still have tons of success even with very limited time.
  • What sort of equipment do I need?
    These exercises are designed to be done from the comfort of your own home with no equipment! In the later phases it can be beneficial to some weights or a gym membership but it’s not necessary. You can almost always MacGuyver a solution at home!
  • Where can I ask questions?
    The beauty of hosting this program on Skool is how community focused it is. There is an entire community section where members can interact with each other, ask questions, and share. This is the best place to ask any questions you have along with the group Q&A calls, which will be both live and recorded.
  • How long does the membership last?
    The ADAPT Program is a monthly membership, which you can cancel at any time. There is no long term commitment by joining. You will have access to all the course content, community, and Q&A calls for as long as you are an active member. Finish up with one body part? You can move right onto the next. Most people think of it as a “PT in your pocket” :)
