Take A Sick Day

Many people avoid taking sick days like the plague. They feel like they have to wait until they're on death's doorstep before they "waste" a sick day. Either that or they use it to extend their PTO on a beautiful, summer day (which I totally understand 😂).

If you're in pain, use that sick day! That's what it's there for. You don't feel 100% when you're in pain, so take the day off to start feeling better. I don't mean take the day off and just lay around the house in your bath robe. Use that time to double down on your PT! Or, if you haven't been able to find the time to come see us, book your initial evaluation! Taking the day off will be well worth it when we find the root cause of your pain and give you the tools to remove it from your life.

Our modern society has made us prioritize working over our own health. In order for this to change, you need to take control of your life and decide what's most important to you. If you don't actively make time for your wellness, you'll be forced to make time for your illness.

Ditch the Steady State Cardio

That's right, I said it. Ditch the steady state cardio. That means no more slugging around on the cardio machines for hours at a time...
